Prompt 6: Coalesce

The Final Exchange April 15

The final prompt asks you to synthesize the work of BEING, PLACE, and ENTANGLEMENT into a final architectural proposition situated within your chosen site and city. This phase gathers the insights, experiments, and discoveries developed throughout the semester and asks you to continue translating them into a coherent architectural intervention.

Your project should refine the work you have developed to date - seeking depth and clarity through continued iteration and critical reflection. The guiding question, shaped through your reading of place and explored through your worlding artefacts, should remain the north star of this phase.

A successful project will demonstrate thoughtful engagement with the feedback and lessons accumulated across the semester. Your proposition should be clearly situated within its context and respond critically to the entanglements between architectural elements and the forces shaping place and inhabitation, producing meaningful effects through atmosphere, spatial organization, function, and lived experience.

The task of this final phase is to refine and consolidate what you have learned about this place - its relationships, tensions, and latent potentials - into an architectural proposition capable of hosting new forms of experience, encounter, and civic life.
